Microsoft Researchers Use Machine Learning Techniques to Help Advance HIV Vaccine Research

This really makes you feel good. It's so interesting that a computer virus can mimic the attributes of its real life counterpart.

Microsoft researchers David Heckerman and Nebojsa Jojic have collaborated with leading doctors and scientists to apply software algorithms traditionally used in computer science to develop a new approach to creating HIV vaccine models, which will be unveiled today at the 12th annual Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections in Boston.
